Job Summary
Global Star Security Services Company (GSS) is seeking disciplined, dependable, and physically capable individuals for the role of Security Guard. As a front-line representative of our security team, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining safety, enforcing protocols, and demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Candidates must have prior armed security experience, sound judgment, and a commitment to protecting personnel and property. This role is critical in upholding the safety standards and reputation of GSS and our esteemed clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Secure assigned premises and prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other unlawful activities.
• Perform regular patrols, both static and mobile, as per the post orders and operational procedures.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activities, and report findings to supervisors.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles, individuals, and materials at control points when required.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, emergency, and access control protocols at all times.
• Remain vigilant and mentally alert during shifts; act decisively under pressure.
• Maintain clear and concise logs of daily activities, occurrences, and shift reports.
• Respect the chain of command and follow lawful instructions from superiors without delay.
• Preserve confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the job.
• Maintain the proper condition and accountability of assigned weapons and security equipment.

Job Requirements
Technical Competencies:
• Sound knowledge of security operations, physical security systems, access control protocols, and emergency response tactics.
• Ability to draft incident reports, operational updates, and post orders with clarity and accuracy.
• Proficient in using communication equipment, surveillance systems, and security reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Obtaining Diploma or Certificate in security management, law enforcement, or a related field is advantageous.
• Physical Fitness & Alertness: Must be in good health, physically fit, and mentally alert to perform long shifts and respond to emergencies.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an armed security guard in a reputable security firm, government entity, or defence-related role.
• Language: Basic English-speaking and comprehension skills are required to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Weapons Proficiency: Must be experienced and proficient in handling AK-47 rifles and pistols. Practical weapon safety and control are mandatory.
• Clean Background: No criminal record. Background screening will be conducted prior to employment.
• References: Must provide verifiable proof of previous employment or a reliable reference from a recognized organization or individual.
