Job Description:
Aseel Technology is hiring a Marketing Associate for our 50 Afghan Women in Tech Leaders Program Fellowship Cohort 3. The role is explained in detail as follows:
Marketing Associate (50 Afghan Women in Tech Program)
The Marketing Associate will play a key role in driving Aseel’s marketing initiatives across its three main platforms — Buy Good, Do Good, and AidOS. This position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, e-commerce, and humanitarian innovation, supporting both digital growth and social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management – Manage and maintain Aseel’s social media accounts, including post scheduling, engagement tracking, and community interaction.
2. Content Creation & Storytelling– Support content creation across channels (social media, website, newsletters). Capture and share stories of artisans, donors, and beneficiaries to highlight Aseel’s impact.
3. Market Research & Analytics – Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and audiences. Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements based on data insights.
4. Campaign & Event Coordination – Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and events, ensuring cross-team alignment with Aseel’s e-commerce and humanitarian objectives.
5. Partnership & Community Engagement – Support marketing collaborations with partners, NGOs, and donors. Promote co-branded initiatives and help strengthen Aseel’s digital ecosystem.
6. Digital Advertising & Retention – Assist in managing paid ad campaigns, optimizing conversion rates, and developing strategies for donor and customer retention.
7. Administrative Support – Maintain marketing calendars, organize digital assets, and support coordination across departments.
8. Learning & Innovation – Participate in Aseel’s innovation labs, explore new tools and ideas, and contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing strategies.

Reporting & Collaboration:
The Marketing Associate will report to the Marketing Lead and collaborate closely with the Product, Do Good, Buy Good, and AidOS teams. Regular coordination with content creators, designers, and field teams (Atalan Network) will be expected.

As part of the 50 Afghan Women in Tech program, fellows will receive ongoing mentorship, technical training, and exposure to international best practices in marketing, e-commerce, and humanitarian innovation.
Job Requirements:
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, etc.).
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).
• Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to create and communicate professional content effectively.
• Experience or strong interest in e-commerce or humanitarian/development marketing.
• Ability to multitask, work in teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive attitude, creativity, and a passion for learning.
