Job Summary
The Shipping & Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for the effective management of warehouse and shipping activities, including finished-goods storage, stock handling, vehicle loading, dispatch, documentation, inventory accuracy, and coordination with Sales and Production. The position ensures that products are properly stored, accurately recorded, safely loaded, and dispatched to Kabul and regional markets on time.

1. Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse activities and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, handling, and issuance of finished goods and other materials.
- Maintain proper organization and preservation of stock.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed where applicable.
- Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure damaged, rejected, expired, and short/extra stocks are properly identified
and segregated.
2. Shipping & Dispatch
Â
- Plan and coordinate daily loading and dispatch activities.
- Ensure finished goods are handed over from Production to Shipping accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with the Sales team regarding vehicle requirements and loading plans.
- Ensure regional and customer orders are loaded according to approved requirements.
- Monitor vehicle arrival, loading, full-in, and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure all shipment documents are complete before dispatch.
- Minimize delays, stock damage, and loading errors.
3. Stock Management

- Maintain accurate physical and system stock records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system balances.
- Investigate stock shortages, excesses, damages, and discrepancies.
- Ensure rejected and damaged materials are cleared and updated in the system on time.
- Monitor stock aging and report slow-moving or damaged stock to management.
4. Team Supervision

- Supervise Warehouse and Shipping staff and allocate daily duties.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance of team members.
- Ensure staff follow warehouse, safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
- Provide coaching and on-the-job guidance to employees.
5. Loading & Unloading
Â
- Ensure loading and unloading activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Minimize product damage during handling and transportation.
- Ensure proper use of pallets, sheets, forklifts, and other handling equipment.
- Coordinate with the Forklift team to ensure equipment availability.
- Ensure stock is properly secured during transportation.
6. Coordination with Other Departments

- Coordinate closely with Production regarding finished-goods handover.
- Coordinate with Sales regarding order priorities, vehicle requirements, and dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with Procurement regarding warehouse materials and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance regarding documentation and stock-related matters.
- Coordinate with Quality Control regarding rejected or quality-hold products.
- Report operational challenges to management promptly.
7. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of:
- Stock receiving
- FG handover
- Loading and dispatch
- Vehicle movement
- Stock shortages and damages
- Repacking activities
- Rejected materials
- Daily warehouse transactions
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and shipping reports.
- Submit stock discrepancy reports and recommendations to management.
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the ERP.
8. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with company warehouse and shipping procedures.
- Implement workplace safety requirements in warehouse and loading areas.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is used by warehouse and loading staff.
- Prevent unauthorized access to warehouse and restricted areas.
- Report accidents, damages, and safety incidents immediately.
Qualifications
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field.
- Additional training in warehouse or logistics management is an advantage.
Experience
Â
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or distribution.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Experience in FMCG, beverage, manufacturing, or distribution companies is preferred.
