We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Officer to join our team and oversee the protection and security of our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor, and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks, ensuring the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with the company’s data security policy.

1. Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
2. Oversee security awareness training and ensure compliance with security regulations and standards.
3. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.
4. Manage security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns and implement security best practices.
6. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to enhance the organization’s overall security posture.
7. Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address emerging security risks.
8. Develop and maintain security incident response plans and procedures.
9. Lead and mentor a team of security professionals to ensure effective execution of security initiatives.
10. Collaborate with external security partners and vendors to address security requirements and concerns.
11. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
12. Communicate security-related information to senior management and stakeholders.

• Proven experience in a senior-level information security role, with a strong track record of implementing and managing security initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in IT or cyber security.
• In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies, including network security, encryption, and access control.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
