Hungarian International Aid, founded in 1991, is one of Hungary’s largest humanitarian organizations that also has gained international recognition. Since 2001, HIA has been implementing humanitarian and development programmes in Afghanistan. In addition to humanitarian aid, our objective is to achieve, through our permanent local office, long-term sustainable results in the areas of education, rural development, public administration development, health and capacity building. In partnership with United Nations World Food Program (WFP), we deliver thousands of tons of food each year through “emergency humanitarian assistances” and “food for work” programmes to those in need. In the complex food programmes, we help the population to make a long-term sustainable living through income-generating training, agricultural, water management and infrastructural developments.

Job Summary

• SCOPE Registrar is responsible for beneficiary registration into donor’s SCOPE system.
• Responsible for registration of selected beneficiaries, initiating the laptops, leading the registration teams and reporting the progress.
• Conduct household-level beneficiary registration and verification in line with HIA targeting criteria and SOPs.
• Operate and maintain Scope equipment (biometric devices, printers etc.) during registration and distribution activities.
• Ensure accurate entry of beneficiary data, including demographic details, biometrics, and household information.
• Verify beneficiary documents (ID cards, BPL cards, and other supporting documents) and resolve discrepancies.
• Support assessments and surveys to identify eligible households for food/cash assistance.
• Any other task assigned by the management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies or related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken Dari, Pashto and English.
• Previous experience in SCOPE Registration is a must.
• Familiar with SCOPE system and should be capable to enter data into the system.
• Have technical and practical competence in humanitarian response projects, surveys, Assessments, beneficiary selection, emergency response programs, vulnerability certifies, beneficiary registration and related activities
• Proven experience in survey, SCOPE and MODA systems
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in team
• Be adapted to hard working environment
• Fast typing speed both in English/Dari is a must
• Applicants with above qualifications from Sar-e-Pul province will be given priority.
