About the Company
Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries. Currently, Concern has been working in Afghanistan since 1998, when it responded to an earthquake disaster in Takhar province. Currently Concern has been working in Takhar and Badakhshan provinces undertaking both emergency response and long-term developmental work in the areas of livelihood security, primary education and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.

Job Summary
Community Mobilization and Engagement

· Mobilize households and communities to actively participate in cash assistance and nutrition support activities.

· Facilitate engagement of Community Health Workers (CHWs), Family Health Action Groups (FHAGs), and Community Health Shuras to strengthen outreach and ownership.

· Support inclusive participation of women, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable groups in project activities.

· Ensure clear communication of project objectives, eligibility criteria, entitlements, and Feedback & Complaints Response Mechanism (FCRM) channels to communities.

· بسیج خانواده‌ها و جوامع برای اشتراک فعال در فعالیت‌های کمک نقدی و حمایت تغذیه‌ای.

· تسهیل مشارکت کارمندان صحی جامعه (CHWs)، گروپ‌های عمل صحی خانواده (FHAGs) و شوراهای صحی جامعه برای تقویت آگاهی و مالکیت جامعه.

· حمایت از مشارکت فراگیر زنان، افراد دارای معلولیت و گروه‌های آسیب‌پذیر در فعالیت‌های پروژه.

· اطمینان از انتقال واضح اهداف پروژه، معیارهای شمولیت، حقوق مستفیدین و کانال‌های مکانیزم شکایات و بازخورد (FCRM) به جامعه.

Nutrition Awareness and Behavior Change

· Assist Nutrition Counsellors in conducting household visits, awareness sessions, and counselling on infant and young child feeding, maternal nutrition, and use of locally available foods.

· Mobilize participants for community nutrition dialogues and behavior change activities.

· Support household mapping, MUAC screening, and referral of children and women requiring nutrition services to Family Health House clinics.

· همکاری با مشاوران تغذیه در بازدیدهای خانوادگی، جلسات آگاهی‌دهی و مشاوره در مورد تغذیهٔ طفل و مادر و استفاده از غذاهای محلی مغذی.

· بسیج اشتراک‌کنندگان برای گفت‌وگوهای تغذیه‌ای و فعالیت‌های تغییر رفتار در سطح جامعه.

· حمایت از نقشه‌برداری خانوار، اندازه‌گیری MUAC و معرفی اطفال و زنان نیازمند خدمات تغذیه‌ای به کلینیک‌های خانهٔ صحت خانواده.

Cash Assistance Support

· Facilitate safe and accessible cash distribution processes in coordination with programme staff and Hawala providers.

· Support identification and verification of vulnerable households, ensuring transparency and inclusion.

· Assist in monitoring beneficiary satisfaction and utilization of cash assistance during Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM).

· تسهیل روند توزیع نقدی به‌صورت امن و قابل دسترس در هماهنگی با تیم پروژه و فراهم‌کنندگان حواله.

· همکاری در شناسایی و تصدیق خانواده‌های آسیب‌پذیر، با تضمین شفافیت و شمولیت.

· کمک در نظارت از رضایت مستفیدین و استفادهٔ کمک نقدی در جریان نظارت پس از توزیع (PDM).

Community Capacity Building

· Mobilize participants for training sessions, including Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) and community awareness activities.

· Strengthen community knowledge on nutrition, coping strategies, and preparedness for seasonal hazards.

· Encourage community-led participation in project planning and feedback mechanisms.

· بسیج اشتراک‌کنندگان برای جلسات آموزشی، شامل آموزش تغذیهٔ طفل و مادر و فعالیت‌های آگاهی‌دهی جامعه.

· تقویت دانش جامعه در مورد تغذیه، استراتژی‌های مقابله و آمادگی برای خطرات موسمی.

· تشویق مشارکت جامعه در پلان‌گذاری پروژه و مکانیزم‌های بازخورد.

Monitoring and Reporting Support

· Assist MEAL teams in data collection during household registration, baseline assessments, and PDM exercises.

· Facilitate focus group discussions and feedback sessions with community members.

· Document community-level challenges, lessons learned, and success stories to inform adaptive management.

· همکاری با تیم MEAL در جمع‌آوری معلومات هنگام ثبت خانوارها، ارزیابی ابتدایی و نظارت پس از توزیع.

· تسهیل بحث‌های گروهی و جلسات بازخورد با اعضای جامعه.

· ثبت چالش‌ها، درس‌های آموخته‌شده و داستان‌های موفقیت در سطح جامعه برای بهبود مدیریت پروژه.

Coordination, Reporting, and Accountability

هماهنگی، گزارش‌دهی و پاسخ‌گویی

· Develop and submit weekly and monthly work plans and reports to the line supervisor.

· Ensure regular data collection against agreed indicators and maintain records of meetings, group activities, beneficiaries, feedback, and project progress.

· Act as the primary link between communities and project staff.

· Report community issues, risks, feedback, complaints, and success stories to the Programme Officer.

· Support accountability and community feedback mechanisms.

تهیه و ارائه پلان‌های کاری هفتگی و ماهانه و گزارش‌ها به مسوول مربوطه.
اطمینان از جمع‌آوری منظم داده‌ها بر اساس شاخص‌های توافق‌شده و ثبت سوابق جلسات، فعالیت‌های گروپی، مستفیدین، بازخوردها و پیشرفت پروژه.

Emergency/Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS):

The concern is committed to CHS to ensure downward accountability. CHS standards guide Concern activities in all stages both emergency and development projects /programs. In Afghanistan, we also bounded our activities by Accountability framework and therefore any Afghanistan employees is responsible to comply with CHS principles and benchmarks as instructed by its policies and therefore make sure that all accept and implement CHS standards in all our activities.

To give full support in relation to emergencies/ humanitarian operations when occurring in any area that Concern Afghanistan will respond. This can include but is not limited to participation in the Concern Afghanistan Rapid Deployment Unit (CARDU) and deployment on emergency response teams.

Job Requirements
ü Diploma/degree in Health, Nutrition, emergency or any other related field.

ü At least 1 or 2 years work experience with NGOs in nutrition and cash programming.

Communications:

ü Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders and to manage and organize community meetings.

ü Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Professional Skills, competencies and qualities:

ü Ability to work with community members and spend at least 90% of time in the field

ü Strong cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity

ü Good interpersonal and organization skills

ü Ability to collaborate effectively with all different staff and stakeholders.
