Job Summary
Main duty and Responsibilities:

Project Implementation and management:

· Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of livelihood, agriculture, livestock, agribusiness, value chain, SHG, watershed, and natural resource management interventions in line with project objectives, log frame, workplans, standards, and deliverables.

· Provide technical guidance and support to Programme Support Officers, Community Mobilisers, and relevant field-level technical staff to ensure timely, effective, and high-quality Programme delivery.

· Support the integration of equality and inclusion, climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and accountability across Programme activities.

· Support the review and adaptation of implementation approaches based on monitoring findings, lessons learned, emerging community needs, and stakeholder feedback.

· Support the planning and implementation of Veterinary Field Unit activities, livestock services, animal health awareness, and linkages with veterinary service providers to improve access to quality livestock services.

· Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of watershed management, Farmer-Managed Natural Regeneration, soil and water conservation, and other natural resource management activities, ensuring appropriate technical standards and community ownership.

· Support the assessment, planning, and implementation of water infrastructure, including irrigation canals, water harvesting, and other community-level water management interventions, in coordination with relevant technical teams and stakeholders.

· Support the establishment and effective use of cold storage and post-harvest infrastructure to reduce losses, improve product quality, extend shelf life, and strengthen market access for targeted value chains.

· Support the quality implementation of key livelihood and agricultural activities, including enhanced production, post-harvest handling, storage and processing, food safety and security, market linkages, enterprise development, product development, marketing, and branding.

· Support the development and implementation of value chain strategies with targeted SHGs and establish linkages with producer groups, cooperatives, associations, businesses, companies, and other market actors.

· Support input distribution, backward and forward market linkages, and other value chain development activities.

· Ensure the meaningful participation and inclusion of women, persons with disabilities, and the poorest and most vulnerable households across all project activities.

· Provide technical support to Community Mobilizers, SHGs, Watershed Management Committees, and project staff on equality, inclusion, SHG development, natural resource management, and effective community engagement.

· Ensure community feedback and stakeholder concerns are appropriately incorporated into Programme planning and implementation.

· Promote community ownership and participation in the planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of watershed, FMNR, water infrastructure, VFU, and other livelihood-related interventions.

Monitoring and Evaluation

· In coordination with the project staff, develop weekly/monthly monitoring plans.

· Monitor and track implementation progress of the activity as per the approved performance indicators.

· Support MEAL team during field assessments as and when necessary.

Reporting and Communication

· Submit accurate compiled reports, monthly, quarterly work plans and share with relevant staff.

· Liaise with logistic and finance team and other program teams to support smooth project implementation.

· Participate in stakeholders’ meetings at national and provincial level if required.

· Ensure government participation in key social events such as training, exposure visits, workshops.

· Support the project team and MEAL unit in developing success stories/ case studies.

· Compile and submit monthly reports on beneficiaries reached through established reporting channels.

Networking:

· Liaise with relevant government departments, NGO networks and any other key stakeholders.

· Actively participate in coordination platforms, ensuring proper representation of Concern at provincial and district level.

· Network with other international and local NGOs for experience sharing and learning on business and value chain activities.

Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) and Emergency:

· The concern is committed to CHS to ensure downward accountability. CHS standards guide Concern activities in all stages both emergency and development projects /programs. In Afghanistan, we also bounded our activities by Accountability framework and therefore any Afghanistan employees is responsible to comply with CHS principles and benchmarks as instructed by its policies and therefore make sure that all accept and implement CHS standards in all our activities.

· To give full support in relation to emergencies/ humanitarian operations when occurring in any area that Concern Afghanistan will respond. This can include but is not limited to participation in the Concern Afghanistan Rapid Deployment Unit (CARDU) and deployment on emergency response teams.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:

ü Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness and other closely related fields. Master’s degree is an advantage

ü At least 5 years’ experience in fields of agriculture, agribusiness, and value chain.

ü Proven experience in working with Community-Based organizations.

ü Track record of project planning and implementation

ü Working experience in an NGO-development sector is preferred

ü Computer skills: Good knowledge of MS Office package

Job Summary

The Internal Audit Manager will provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the organization’s governance, risk management, internal controls, and operational processes. The position will assess compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures, with particular focus on the organization’s Electronic Money Institution (EMI) operations.

Key Responsibilities

•  Risk Management Framework – Develop, implement, and maintain the EMI’s risk management framework and policies.
• Risk Monitoring – Establish risk indicators, limits, thresholds, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Agent Risk – Assess and monitor risks associated with agents, including liquidity, operational, fraud, and compliance risks.
• Liquidity & Financial Risk – Monitor liquidity, settlement, safeguarding/float, and financial risks in coordination with Finance.
• Business Continuity – Coordinate risk assessments for business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
• Regulatory Risk – Monitor material regulatory risks and coordinate with Compliance to ensure applicable DAB requirements are addressed.
• Risk Mitigation & Follow-Up – Develop risk treatment plans, assign responsibilities, and monitor corrective actions.
• Risk Reporting – Prepare regular risk reports, dashboards, and alerts for senior management and the Board.
• Fraud Risk – Identify fraud risks, monitor fraud indicators, and coordinate preventive and corrective measures.
• Technology & Cyber Risk – Monitor technology, cybersecurity, data, system availability, and third-party technology risks.
• Operational Risk – Identify operational weaknesses, system failures, process risks, and service disruptions and recommend mitigation measures.
• Risk Identification & Assessment – Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, liquidity, technology, cyber, fraud, compliance, and other material risks.
• Any other responsibility being assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management and Master’s Degree or special Certifications in Risk Management is most preferable
• Educational qualifications must be obtained from a recognized institution and officially recognized or verified by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan. Foreign academic qualifications must be supported by an equivalency certificate issued by the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience in banking sector or a related field.
  • Experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, fraud risk, or financial risk is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication skills in Dari and/or Pashto.

Job Summary

Job Purpose

To operate, monitor, clean and perform permitted basic adjustments of production or packaging machinery in accordance with approved SOPs, batch instructions, GMP and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, assembly, disassembly and changeover according to approved procedures.
• Verify product name, batch number, materials, components, labels and machine settings before operation.
• Operate assigned machinery safely and monitor operating parameters and output.
• Monitor rejects, waste, alarms, downtime and abnormal machine conditions.
• Complete machine logbooks, cleaning records, line clearance records and other required production documentation accurately.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic permitted adjustments without bypassing safety or GMP controls.
• Immediately report machine breakdowns, abnormal conditions, safety risks or product-quality concerns.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Follow gowning, personal hygiene, PPE, safety and GMP requirements.
• Support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and technical interventions as instructed.
• Complete proper shift handover and communicate machine status and pending issues.

Job Requirements

• Minimum secondary school education; technical/vocational education is an advantage.
• Preferably at least one year of machine operation experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics or other controlled manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Ability to follow written SOPs and complete basic records accurately.
• Basic computer literacy is an advantage.
•    Fluent in Dari and English

Job Summary

• Provide technical oversight of manufacturing, laboratory, storage and technical operations within the scope of responsibility.
• Review and provide technical input on specifications, master formulas, manufacturing instructions and technical documentation.
• Coordinate and support qualification, validation, calibration, preventive maintenance and technical change-control activities.
• Review technical aspects of deviations, CAPA, complaints, recalls, change controls and risk assessments.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or another legally acceptable relevant professional field.
• Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, technical operations or regulatory/quality functions.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, validation, qualification, technical documentation and pharmaceutical operations.
• Regulatory Affairs experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
•  Fluent in Dari and well knoledge in English.
